Planting Seeds
a collaborative lesson

We wanted to create a lesson that teaches students about the importance of community and the environment. We also wanted them to recognize that they can create tangible items through art. Our group worked together very smoothly, and I believe that we created a substantial product. We met outside of class as needed and communicated frequently, working together to create this lesson. This lesson will engage students of all skill levels and teach them new things about community gardens and how to use Photoshop. For this project, Brian was our group facilitator and created the rubric, Tiffany created the step-by-step video and presentation slides, Cecelia created the worksheet and art history presentation, and I (Hope) wrote the lesson plan and created the anticipatory set.
